St. John's will celebrate our annual Memorial Mass at 11:30 a.m. Oct. 30. This Mass of Remembrance is offered for the happy repose of souls who have died in the past year. If you have lost a loved one, we encourage you to bring a framed photograph of him or her to be displayed on the altar steps at this Mass. St. John Chrysostom now hosts a weekly Al-Anon meeting from 2 to 3 p.m. Saturdays in the Stevenson Center (ground-level rear entrance to the Parish House). Al-Anon is a support group for family and friends affected by alcoholism, whether or not the alcoholic is still drinking. St. John's also hosts an Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) meeting at 8:30 p.m. Thursdays in the Stevenson Center. Both Al-Anon and AA meetings are run by those organizations, according to their guidelines and independently of St. John's. Meetings are open to all.
