Spring Soccer begins May 1.

This is a co-ed activity open to all children in grades 1-4, including students at MPRCS and non-parishioners who live in Wallingford-Swarthmore. Kids meet for six Sundays beginning May 1 for skill building and scrimmages.





Fall Soccer is also co-ed and runs from August through early November. Our terrific 2018 JV team shown above. Our girls were Region 30 champs!

Grades 5-6 play JV; grades 7-8 play varsity.  We play 10 regular-season games on weekend afternoons in September and October. Optional practice and conditioning sessions start in August.

Champs!

Our CYO soccer team is a repeat champion at the Nicole Gallo Memorial CYO Soccer Tournament. SJC teams took first place in 2016 (above) and 2015 (below). The annual tournament benefits the Sunshine Scholarship Fund in Nicole’s memory and has assisted 10 girls in continuing their Catholic education. Nicole, an active CYO participant and Archbishop Prendergast High School student, was killed by a distracted driver in 2009. We continue to hold Nicole and her family in prayer.
